The following very short article was published in Jackson's Oxford Journal on 22 August 1818. The city was much smaller at this time and did not even include St Clement's. The route is not described, no stones are mentioned, and again only city officers and councillors appear to have taken part:

Robinson's house, where he provided the supper, was at 92/93 High Street (now the Old Bank Hotel), where he was in partnership as a mercer & banker with his brother-in-law William Fletcher
