Oxford Inscriptions: Morrell's Brewery chimney

The octagonal chimney bearing this plaque can be seen below, photographed in 2013. It was built for the Lion Brewery in St Thomas's Street in 1901, and designed by Harry Drinkwater. When the brewery closed in 1998, only this chimney and a waterwheel were retained (along with just the façades of the other buildings).
