to commemorate the official opening
of the Botnar Research Centre

This stone is near the door of the Botnar Research Centre, which is situated at the north end of the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre site.

This stone is in the flowerbed outside the Botnar Reearch Centre (BRC) and was also laid by the present Queen (after she had married Prince Charles in 2005):

On 26 January 2022 the Duchess of Cornwall returned to open the third phase of the Botnar Research Institute (the Marcela Botnar Wing) and planted a Sorbus (rowan) tree outside for the Queen's Green Canopy Year:
