Walter Bowne (fl. 1395)
Mayor of Oxford 1397/8 and 1398/9
Walter Bowne (or Boone/Bon/Boune/Bone) was elected Member of Parliament for Oxford with Edmund Kenyan in 1381 and they were re-elected from May to October 1382.
Bowne was elected Junior Bailiff in 1387. He was chosen as one of the four Aldermen in 1393, 1397, and 1399.
Alderman Walter Bowne was elected Mayor of Oxford (for 1397/8 and 1398/9).
